Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I am a born & bred Washingtonian. I now live on the beautiful Hood Canal with my hubs & fur babies. Living here has not really influenced my writing as much as you would think! But the people, the music and stuff like that are what has inspired me for the most part.

When did you first start writing?

I first started writing at a very young age in elementary school. I remember drawing a picture and my teacher asking me what I was doing in said picture and I told her a big ol' long story about what my dad and I were doing in the picture. Then I went on to tell her about an adventure that I wanted to go on. I was an only child and even though I have a HUGE family we didn't all grow up together so I can an outcast most of the time. So I could come up with some stories as a young child!

What's the story behind your latest book?
Well, it boils down to I have read books about beautiful bikers, musicians, bad boys and millionaires. But let me tell you there are some mighty fine looking trucker's nowadays.

So I combined 3 things I love in this world. Truckers, Bikers and bad boys!! ;-)

What motivated you to become an indie author?

I saw how much fun it could be. I started reading heavily in the last year and I have met some amazing people along the way.
I love having reading & writing as a hobby. Because honestly, it gets me out of my own thoughts per say..

What do your fans mean to you?

My fans... My fans are amazing!! They are wonderful!! I would not be where I am today without them...

My Facebook fans, my twitter followers.... My street team... Rose's Book Snobs.. All of them... I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them!!

What are you working on next?

Book 2 of The Trucker Saga... You're going to get to know Layla better and Ryder is going to tell his whole story... It's going to be different then the way I wrote book 1 but it is still going to be epic!

Who are your favorite authors?

OMG!! I have sooooo many!! Check out my Goodreads is all I have to say lol

But to name a few....Carlie Sexton, Kimberly Knight. S.C. Stephens...Mercy Amare... I could go on and on literally!!

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?

My life right now.. I have a very dark past... My life has been pretty crazy to say the least. But my life now has finally slowed down.. and I am in the right place in my life to actually wake up every day and be happy that I did..

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?

Sleeping, Facebooking, promoting, talking with friends, hanging out with my hubs, watching tv or a movie.. Or reading :)

How do you discover the ebooks you read?

Author friends, facebook... My review team... It really all depends... But I do a lot of ARC reading for reviews and beta reading also...
